This John Day river rafting trip is a nature lover’s paradise and is great for families. Bring your fishing rod, as the John Day River is world-renowned for it’s salmon, steelhead and smallmouth bass fishing. With exceptional birdwatching, fishing and amazing scenery, you’ll love this truly remarkable expedition!
3 Day Trip: (6 person min., $555 Adult/$535 Kids 12 & under) This trip launches at Thirtymile Creek and drifts 45 river miles down to our take out at Cottonwood State Park. This run is primarily class I/II with very few rapids. This amazing wilderness experience will help you hone your rafting skills, work on your fly fishing and soak up the sun as we navigate the river. We will have ample opportunities for swimming, hiking or just taking it easy. Amazing relaxing adventure!
4 Day Trip: (6 person min., $675 Adult/$625 Kids 12 & under) This rafting trip launches from Clarno and continues 69 amazing miles to cottonwood bridge. This lower stretch has a little less gradient, meandering through remote, off-the-grid areas. This adventurous journey will satisfy your wilderness cravings while also giving you plenty of time for fishing, hiking, photography or just relaxing.
