First, We’ll meet in the historic downtown of Independence, Oregon, then we’ll shuttle everyone upriver to the historic town of Buena Vista, where the first hop plant in Oregon was planted! After a brief safety talk, we’ll kayak the mighty Willamette river. We’ll make our way downstream, learning basic kayaking strokes and maneuvers as we learn all about our local hop industry and cultivation practices in the Willamette Valley. You’ll be working up your appetite just in time for a stop at Rogue Hop Farm for lunch, tastings and a tour of the hop farm. You’ll discover how Rogue grows the revolution from ground to glass.
